Can you tell us about your role at the company and what you enjoy most about it?
I am a sales broker focused on dairy’s and feedlots in the Northeast, Heartland, Great Plains and Western areas. I enjoy most the people that I work with both including our team, and Customer/Vendor relationships that I have built.
Can you share a recent accomplishment or project you’re particularly proud of?
I am very proud of how well our first year of putting together corn stalks for Q Ranch went in Colorado. There was months of planning and discussions to make this happen, and we exceeded expectations on total tonnage booked and delivered.
What motivates or inspires you?
I am inspired by my family who truly work their butts off daily being dairy farmers. All of the dairies that I talk to/work with are “the salt of the earth.” I am very motivated by our current team to hit our objectives and goals, and want to keep the momentum continuing upward!
What advice would you give to someone new to the job?
Be patient, work hard every day, and be persistent. If something isn’t working for you in a certain area, diversify, and use the team and resources that we have to help you succeed.
