Can you tell us about your role at the company and what you enjoy most about it?
I am the Chief Operating officer with a concentration in finance, I love that with the combined effort of every person on my team I am able to manage the financial health of the company and in doing so assure that my team, my vendors, my customers and my truckers are all taken care of and happy!
Can you share a recent accomplishment or project you’re particularly proud of?
As with everything in agriculture, there are always many challenges but with the help of a great team we have not only been able to keep moving forward but have also been able to reach record levels of healthy growth within the company.
What motivates or inspires you?
The greatest motivator for me is knowing what I do is making a difference in the lives of the people we work with. When I hear from a farmer, trucker, customer or employee how their lives have improved by working with us, that is when my motivation becomes pure joy!
What advice would you give to someone new to the job?
This job requires extreme passion and commitment, it isn’t just a job, this is a lifestyle – If you are willing and able, you can change your life and the lives of many other along with you – but it takes extreme dedication, persistence and hard work!
