Employee Spotlight: Natalia Polo

Can you tell us about your role at the company and what you enjoy most about it?

I manage customer accounts, ensuring that they meet their payment obligations while maintaining positive relationships. What I enjoy most is the balance between financial analysis and customer interaction, every situation is different, and I like the challenge of finding fair, effective solutions that benefit both the company and the client.

Can you share a recent accomplishment or project you’re particularly proud of?

In the middle of last year, we had a customer whose balance was significantly overdue, and they had completely stopped responding to any contact attempts. Despite the lack of response, I remained persistent and continued trying different communication strategies. At the beginning of this year, I was able to establish a more effective contact channel. As a result, the customer not only paid off their outstanding debt but also remains an active client with improved payment habits. 

What motivates or inspires you?

I’m motivated by the sense of responsibility that comes with my role. Knowing that my work directly affects the company’s financial health keeps me focused. I also enjoy the challenge of problem-solving, whether it’s reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, or helping customers navigate payment issues, every day brings something new.

What advice would you give to someone new to the job?

Stay organized, communicate clearly, and always approach customers with professionalism and empathy. It’s not  just about collecting payments, it’s about building trust. If you listen to customers and work with them, you’ll find that solutions come easier, and relationships stay strong.
