Salt Marsh Hay in 2 string bales is a very old type of hay that grows naturally along the atlantic coast in salt marshes. This type of hay is produced these days in very small quantities by only a handful of coastal farms. The wiry grass will contain no seeds and has several qualities that make it desireable as a mulch in gardens and for certain construction applications.
